Careful stone by stone dismantling and re-siting of this famous 1831 tower, situated precariously on the cliff top over Kimmeridge Bay in Dorset. Rebuilding works included archaeological recording and numbering of every element of the tower, forming a new foundation, replacing damaged and missing sections of stonework, re-rendering, reinstatement of floors and internal joinery details and spiral staircase and the construction of a new lead roof.
